Before he had a name, before we even held him in our arms – Greyson was Prayed for. We waited years, walked through heartache after heartache, and questioned if we’d ever be parents.
And then God, in His perfect timing, gave us our Miracle. Our firstborn. Our “Grey-boy”.
Greyson came into this world with the weight of our prayers on his tiny shoulders, and somehow he’s been carrying a quiet strength ever since. He’s our serious one, the thinker, the analyzer. The one who catches everything, especially the things we don’t say out loud. He’s a math wiz, a chess player, a burger connoisseur, and a lover of scary stories and even scarier movies.
He’s got a soft spot for Naruto – not just the action, but the loyalty, the lessons, the growth. But you know what really gets us? That he’s the kind of kid who will hit you with a corny joke or his signature dry riddles that make you groan and laugh at the same time. Yeah, that’s his brand of humor. Classic Greyson.

His two places? The basketball court and the beach. On the court, he’s focused – running plays, calling shots, and always giving it his all. He doesn’t just play basketball; he studies it, he loves it. It’s his game, his outlet, his joy. And then there’s the beach. He could spend hours chasing waves, digging holes, or just letting waves crash on him. There’s something about the ocean that matches Greyson’s energy – powerful and deep.

Grey is the responsible one – the kid we trust, the one who never forgets what’s on the to-do list. Sometimes we have to pause and remind ourselves: he’s still just a kid. Because he carries himself like someone older, wiser. But then he’s jumping on a rollercoaster with his arms in the air and white-water rafting like a little daredevil, or fighting and arguing with his brothers – and we’re brought back to the beautiful balance he holds – serious and silly, grounded and fearless.
Watching Greyson grow has been like watching a story unfold that we almost didn’t get to read. And every chapter? A gift. He’s not just our oldest- he’s the beginning of this mayhem-filled, joy-soaked, wild ride of parenthood. And for that, we’ll always be grateful.
