Yellowstone: Chasing Geysers & Stillness

Montana Memories

From the moment we entered Yellowstone National Park, it was like stepping into a world untouched by time. Vast open landscapes stretched as far as we could see, painted with ever-changing skies and dotted with wildlife that made us stop in awe more times than we could count.

There’s a quiet power in Yellowstone, a peacefulness you can feel. The kind that makes everyone instinctively speak a little softer, walk a little slower, and just take it all in. Every turn revealed something new: steaming geysers, rainbow-colored hot springs, and trails where bison roamed freely like they owned the land, well, because they kind of do.

Seeing Old Faithful erupt in person was one of those bucket list moments that gave us chills. There’s something incredible about watching nature keep time better than we ever could. As the geyser shot into the sky, it felt like everyone around us held their breath. Moments like that make you feel small in the best way.

And the history of the land is just as rich as its views. To walk among geysers and geothermal wonders that have been bubbling for centuries is to be reminded that this earth is alive- breathing, moving, speaking if we only slow down long enough to listen.

Yellowstone wasn’t just a park, it was a moment for our family to reconnect – to be together without noise and without distractions. If you’ve never been, go. Take the drive. Let the land remind you how big and beautiful this world really is.
