This year, I’m choosing to be wealthy in ways that don’t show up in a bank account.
Wealthy in Positivity- that which carries me through long days, messy moments, and quiet prayers; that which helps me show up as a wife and a mommy with patience, grace, and an open heart, even when I’m exhausted.
Wealth in Memories- ones made in everyday life: school mornings, car rides filled with music and laughter, family dinners, trips together, and moments that don’t seem big at the time but end up meaning everything. And most importantly, memories Kev and I build for Mai Boys and ones we build together.
Wealthy in Experiences- sunrise/sunsets, family adventures, hikes, road trips, and time spend side-by-side. Experiences that remind me that presence matters more than perfection, and that love is found in showing up again and again.
Emotionally Wealthy- aware of Mai feelings: honoring them and giving Mai-self permission to feel without guilt. Learning to communicate, to soften, to grow, and to love deeply as a wife, while nurturing Mai Boys with understanding and patience.
Mentally Wealthy- protecting Mai peace, setting boundaries, choosing rest when needed, and strength when life feels heavy. Creating a home filled with calm, love and emotional safety. Becoming the steady place Mai family can rest in.
Financial goals matter, but they are no longer the measure of success for me. Wealth looks like a connected marriage, children who feel loved and supported, a heart that feels full, and a mind that feels grounded.
Here’s to a new year of being rich in what truly lasts- Mai Family, Mai Love, and the Life we’re Building Together.
